For tarps not normally stocked with rope track already sewn in. A 6mm Keder Track can be sewn into the edge of any tarp to enable it to be slid into a Caragroove aluminium track. Keder Track is a heavy duty coated polyester fabric welded to a cord of solid PVC material, resulting in a very strong, flexible and slippery track welting that slides easily and effortlessly. Price per 100mm. If you require a size with this alteration done, put the length needed as a multiple of 0.1 of a metre. e.g. for a 3.7m tarp, put 37 for the quantity. If ordering more than 1 tarp, please advise which tarp is to be altered. Please allow 1 week for alterations to be done.

A shortener is a triangular reinforcing patch with an eyelet. It is sewn on the tarp at the required distance in from the eyelets on the edge to enable the tarpaulin to be used as a smaller tarp. NOTE: Slight water leakage can occur where the tarp is stitched. A wax stick or a seam sealer from a camping store may rectify this.
